ERMAHGERD, CHOCOLATE! I know that’s what you’re thinking too. I love me some good chocolate, but I can be picky about the right kind too. I mean, I don’t discriminate against chocolate, but I wouldn’t enjoy it quite so much… I’m SO glad I got to review these chocolates, because chocolate!
I tried two different kinds: Milk Chocolate Crunchy Caramel Bark and Assorted Favorites.
First up: Crunchy Caramel Bark. Alias: Chocolate crack.
Sweet baby Jesus, this stuff is fantastic. Seriously, some of the best chocolate I’ve ever tasted. It’s got a salted toffee kind of taste to it, and it’s just enough to blow your senses away! The milk chocolate is also phenomenal – not the cheap tasting chocolate that you sometimes get, even with gourmet chocolates. The pieces are the perfect size for a one or two bite snack. If I’m craving some sweets, I just pop one into my mouth, and I no longer feel like I want to murder someone in my household. Yep, they are that good. My only complaint: Fill the bag fuller! Please! The photo I took was before I even took a piece out, and it’s hardly half full. For the price this costs to purchase ($4.99 on the Amazon), that stinks.
Next up: Assorted Favorites. Alias: The Best of All Worlds
The Assorted Favorites came with 4 different types of chocolate – Mint Patty, Caramel, Coconut, and Pecan Delight. The bad news is that I only like the top two flavors. The good news is that those two flavors alone made this package totally worthwhile! The caramel was some of the best chocolate caramels I have ever tasted. I can’t even put my finger on why they were so good, they were just delicious! It’s a pretty big size, about two bites worth. The Mint Patty at first didn’t impress me. The inside is really gooey and liquidy, not like a York patty which is what I expected. After I finished it though, I realized the genius of the Mint Patty! The aftertaste was ahhhmaaazing! It made it totally worthwhile. I did not try the other two kinds, but I can only imagine that they are equally as tasty for those who like the flavors. Again, the bag was only about half full (there were three of each kinds except Coconut, there were only two of those), so the value isn’t great on these – they run at $4.99 on Amazon.
Too Long, Didn’t Read:
Rating: 5/5 stars (I’d go 6 if I could!)
Pros: So so so so SO GOOD! Amazing flavors, perfect bite size snacks to fix those cravings.
Cons: Pretty spendy for the amount you receive.
Final Thoughts: Well worth the purchase if you eat them sparingly, but definitely look for sales or coupons!
